Why it’s on the record. Raffensperger refused, and the recount and audits confirmed Biden's win. The House January 6th Select Committee's final report calls the demand 'a stunning moment.' The call was central to the 2023 Fulton County racketeering indictment, which was dismissed in late 2025 after DA Fani Willis was disqualified. The recording itself was never disputed.
